Rize Brunch Party Elevates Soufriere

Under twin volcanic peaks and a glittering Caribbean sky, thousands of patrons descended to the Soufriere Mini Stadium, for the second consecutive year, on Easter Sunday—transforming Saint Lucia’s famed coastal town into a pulsating fete of music, food, and community. Optimum Events & Rentals brought its signature Brunch Party experience to the scenic location, driving both celebration and economic opportunity.

This year’s headline act, the dynamic Hypasounds, electrified the crowd with a high‐energy set that seamlessly blended music genres. The main stage also featured an all‐star lineup of local Lucian DJs, including Sir Lancealot, Levi Chin, Hype Kidd, and A1 Jugglers, who kept the party vibing from late afternoon well into midnight.

“Seeing Soufriere come alive with that energy year after year is nothing short of inspiring,” said Optimum Events & Rentals co‐director Malcolm Mathurin. “We’re humbled by the turnout and indebted to every single person who made this day possible.”

Co‐director Curtis Dedier added, “With this success, we also take the feedback we’ve received seriously. While we are grateful for the growth and love for the Rize brand, we recognise areas for improvement—everything from entry flow to eatery and entertainment—and we’re already conceptualising enhancements for next year’s execution.”

Dedier noted that the hosting of Rize Brunch Party in Soufriere brought the entire island to life. Beyond the music and festivities, it was a platform to drive business growth in every sector—from beauty service providers offering party-ready styling to hotels and guesthouses accommodating our out‐of‐town visitors.

“The attendees not only dance and dine, but also discover local options, creating a vibrant ripple effect through our and their community,” Dedier said.

The team promised an even better Rize Brunch Party in 2026, with expanded amenities, enhanced logistics, additional vendors, and new interactive activities.
