Mical Teja to Ignite Saint Lucia’s Summer at Project Chocolat’s New ‘LUMINA’ Event

Project Chocolat, Soufrière’s premier destination for immersive experiences, has announced the launch of its newest summer event, LUMINA, set to ignite the island’s cultural scene on Saturday, June 14.

Headlining the festival is none other than Mical Teja, Trinidad & Tobago’s rising Soca superstar, who continues to dominate the Caribbean music scene. Teja, fresh off his 2024 Road March win with DNA, recently made headlines again with “Full Ah Energy” being chosen as the official anthem for the West Indies Cricket 2025 home series. He is also a triple nominee at the 2025 Caribbean Music Awards, including the coveted Soca Song of the Year, Male Soca Artist of the Year, and Soca Impact Award categories.

Adding to the excitement, LUMINA will showcase Saint Lucia’s own Ezra D’FunMachine and Sly, two of the island’s most celebrated entertainers known for igniting stages from Saint Lucia Carnival to international events. All backed up by the electrifying Impulse Band and hosted by MC Donnerville. The lineup includes some of Saint Lucia’s finest DJs namely HYPEKIDD, A1 Jugglers and Saint Lucia carnival ambassador Sir Lancealot.

Set against the lush cacao groves of Project Chocolat, LUMINA promises an unforgettable sunset-to-midnight journey, blending Soca beats, vibrant performances, gourmet island bites, and chocolate-infused cocktails—all in an atmosphere of elegance and high energy.

“Mical Teja’s journey of excellence and passion reflects exactly what LUMINA is about,” says Malcolm Mathurin, Event Coordinator at Project Chocolat. “We want to create a space where music, culture, and flavor collide in spectacular fashion, offering our guests a radiant Caribbean experience that lingers long after the night ends.”
