Dezral has created Lucian Carnival history, securing an unprecedented three titles in 2025.
His hit song Car, featuring Jardel, was officially crowned the Road March winner on Wednesday after dominating on the road during Carnival Monday and Tuesday. This victory marks Dezral’s third Road March win, while also adding to his already historic Carnival reign.
Earlier this week, Dezral shattered records by becoming the first artist ever to simultaneously hold the Power Monarch and Calypso Monarch titles, the latter for the second consecutive year.
Now, with Car claiming Road March honours, he completes an unmatched triple triumph.
The Carnival Planning and Management Agency (CPMA) confirmed the results, with Ricky T and Hollywood HP’s Freakout taking second place, followed by Calto’s I Cry in third.
In an exclusive interview with St Lucia Times before the celebrations, Dezral revealed that Car was crafted as a tribute to Lucian Carnival, never anticipating its rise in popularity.
Dezral traversed the Carnival route during the parade, while Jardel delivered a brief live performance as Just4Fun crossed the stage on Monday.

there is a lot of politics involved in the judging of these events and i suspect that because he is the son of pep who happens to be an slp figure, he’s being rewarded for that connection and for boldly supporting slp with his calypso songs…
