The Soufrière Regional Development Foundation (SRDF) has announced an extension to the application deadline for its University Scholarship Program, giving prospective applicants additional time to apply.
The new deadline is Friday, September 19, 2025.
The scholarship provides financial support to academically outstanding students from Soufrière pursuing tertiary education at recognised Caribbean universities.
Applicants are required to submit certified copies of their CXC/CAPE results, an official acceptance letter from a university, and one passport-sized photograph. Documents must be delivered to the SRDF Bay Street Office.
The University Scholarship Program forms part of the SRDF’s wider mandate to foster social and economic development in Soufrière. Since its establishment in 1993, the Foundation has supported community advancement through initiatives in education, tourism, and cultural heritage. It also manages key sites and services, including the Sulphur Springs Park, Gros Piton Nature Trail, Comfort Centre, Soufrière jetties, 88.5 Soufrière FM, and the Soufrière Beach Park.
For further details, applicants may contact the SRDF office at +1(758)459-7200 or via email at soufrierefoundation@gmail.com.
