A Saint Lucian man wanted in connection with serious criminal offences in Martinique has been extradited, following a coordinated operation between the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) and the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
Yannick “Tiny” Gustave, 33, of Odsan, Castries, was arrested in April 2025 during a multi-agency operation at Faux-A-Chaud, Castries. The arrest was carried out under a Warrant to Arrest Fugitive for Extradition, issued in response to a formal request from French authorities. Gustave is accused of multiple offences in Martinique, including robbery.
On Monday, September 22, 2025, Gustave was formally handed over to a French team for extradition to Martinique to face charges.
The RSLPF, in a brief statement, reaffirmed its commitment to cross-border cooperation and efforts to combat transnational crime.
“The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force remains committed to upholding the rule of law and strengthening international cooperation in the fight against transnational crime.”
