The impactUS conference, which offers a personal-branding and leadership experience, says it is seeking to transform how executives lead and communicate across the Caribbean.
Created by Shermalyn Sidonie-John, a brand marketing leader, TEDx Speaker, and founder of The Influential BossLady, the movement challenges outdated models of leadership and tackles what she defines as “the million-dollar problem of invisible leadership”.

The one-day experience will be held on November 29, 2025, at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, bringing together executives, founders and high-achieving professionals from across the region for a full-day transformation in leadership influence.
This year’s theme, Creating Leaders Who Multiply Leaders, aims to empower leaders to redefine success through authenticity, visibility and legacy.

In an interview with St. Lucia Times, Sidonie-John explains that impactUS was created to help leaders anchor their real selves at the centre of how they communicate and influence others.
“Leadership today demands transparency, not perfection,” she says. “When leaders stay invisible working hard with their heads down, organisations lose trust, innovation slows and the next generation has no blueprint to follow.”
Citing Gartner’s 2024 Global Leadership Research, Sidonie-John says that 76 per cent of employees believe their leaders fail to engage authentically in professional development.
“That’s the crisis we must solve,” she emphasises. “The future belongs to leaders who humanise their authority, share their wisdom, and lead with clarity, confidence and purpose.”
To address this gap, Sidonie-John developed The Influence Capital Blueprint, her proprietary framework that helps leaders and organisations transform visibility into measurable influence.
The blueprint guides executives through three pillars – presence, trust, and legacy – showing how to convert personal authenticity into professional advantage.
“It’s how we transform influence from a personality trait into a performance system,” she explains. “When applied, it increases engagement, retention and decision velocity at every level.”
During impactUS, Sidonie-John will deliver four signature sessions: Executive Presence That Multiplies Influence, Leader-as-Coach & Communicator, Creating Leaders Who Multiply Leaders, and The 90-Day Multiplication Blueprint, each designed to equip attendees with actionable strategies to elevate leadership visibility and impact from the next day forward.
For Sidonie-John, visibility is not vanity but value creation. “People are tired of perfection. They crave real insight: how you failed, what you learned, and how you rose. That’s what multiplies influence,” she says. She also challenges the old narrative that visibility equals arrogance: “If we remain unseen, how can emerging leaders see themselves in us? Visibility builds pipelines of purpose.”
She says The Influential BossLady she leads has become a trusted partner to corporations seeking to strengthen leadership communication, rebuild trust and future-proof their talent pipelines.
“It’s about developing leaders who inspire loyalty, drive innovation and leave a legacy that outlives their title,” Sidonie-John adds.
At impactUS, women leading at the highest levels across Saint Lucia and the wider Caribbean will gather to share insights in a safe, empowering environment designed for real growth.
“Every leader carries a brand that transcends their position,” Sidonie-John reminds. “That brand, the one called you, will outlive any title or company. Your influence is your legacy.”
