Attempted robbery, shooting at La Clery supermarket

Police are investigating a shooting incident at Falcon Mart Supermarket, formerly Wintrades Supermarket, in La Clery, following reports of an attempted robbery.

He has been identified as 27 year old Ceazar Bascombe.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on January 19. Preliminary information suggests that several armed individuals attempted to rob the supermarket. Four assailants were reportedly involved.

During the incident, Bascombe, the supermarket’s security guard was reportedly shot during the incident and rushed to hospital for medical treatment. Police have not yet confirmed his condition.

Officers responded to the scene and investigations into the matter are ongoing. No arrests have been announced at this time. Further details are expected as information becomes available.

    An unfortunate situation … dysfunctional “families” and crime walk hand in hand.
    In that area of La Clery, is a vibrant movement of people. Someone HAS to ID those louts!!

  2. I am in so much shock. I mean why him? I literally just spoke to him on Saturday, 2 days before that. Not only in shock, my blood is boiling. This is senseless murder, and all for what? For him to run away from the commotion the shooter started

    At secondary school, he was the calmest person who never looked for trouble

    I hope the killer gets caught. I’m so upset by that. It eh making sense. You can’t just take an innocent life like that
