Saint Lucia Jazz Festival to launch on Thursday

The 2026 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, one of the most anticipated events on Saint Lucia’s social calendar, will be launched this Thursday, January 22. The event which will be broadcast on various social media platforms, will be held at the Sandals Grande Ballroom.

This past November at the World Travel Market in London, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) released two names down to perform at the festival in May. They were Nigerian singer Tems and the UK’s “Queen of Soul,” Beverley Knight. This Thursday, the full lineup, which Minister for Tourism Hilaire has described as “exciting” will be unveiled.

“We are preparing for the announcement of the Jazz lineup this Thursday. As you know Jazz is the first two weeks of May… I am not going to say much about the lineup but I am personally looking forward to Jazz this year,” Hilaire told reporters.

“I think the community Jazz events will be really, really good this year for sure and the lineup is a really exciting lineup.”

Thursday’s media launch will feature cocktails and a red carpet pre show, followed by the official live broadcast of the launch ceremony at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for the festival, which runs from April 30 to May 10, will go on sale directly after the live.

The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival will again feature a variety of genres including R&B, Gospel, World Beats, Caribbean Rhythms and Jazz. The event runs throughout various communities, exposing patrons to local arts and culture. Main-stage events which culminate at Pigeon Island, are again expected to feature a number of renowned international artists.
