Caribbean Gynecologic Cancer Society to host 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in Barbados

The Caribbean Gynecologic Cancer Society (CGCS) has announced its 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled for April 24-25, at the Hilton Barbados Resort.

This highly anticipated regional conference will bring together leading gynecologic oncologists, surgeons, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the Caribbean and beyond to advance knowledge, share innovations, and strengthen collaboration in the fight against gynecologic cancers.

Under the theme of advancing clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes, the two-day programme will feature expert-led lectures and panel discussions, cutting-edge research presentations, and multidisciplinary approaches to ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers. It will also highlight emerging treatments, innovations in gynecologic oncology, and practical strategies tailored to both high- and low-resource settings.

The conference will include presentations from distinguished regional and international faculty, including experts from leading global institutions, reinforcing CGCS’s commitment to raising standards of care throughout the Caribbean.

Chairman of CGCS, Dr Vikash Chatrani, said: “This meeting represents a vital opportunity for knowledge exchange and regional collaboration. Our goal is to equip healthcare professionals with the latest advancements while fostering partnerships that ultimately improve patient care across the Caribbean.”

In addition to the academic programme, attendees will experience Barbados’ renowned hospitality, with curated opportunities for networking and professional engagement in a relaxed, culturally rich setting.

The CGCS Annual Scientific Meeting is expected to attract a broad cross-section of medical professionals, including gynaecologists, oncologists, nurses, medical students, and allied health practitioners, all committed to improving women’s health outcomes.
