After seeing its six-year winning streak snapped by Pantime Steel Orchestra last year, Courts Babonneau Steel Orchestra reclaimed the Republic Bank Panorama title on Sunday night.
The band’s performance of Rootsy’s ‘Hilary’ edged out defending champions Pantime Steel Orchestra, which finished second with 244 points after performing the same selection.
Pantastic Muzik Steel Orchestra placed third, while LCCU Laborie Steel Pan was fourth.
In the solo competition, Chazzi Desrivieres captured the title with ‘Arthur’s Lottery’.
Jessy Nurse and Omar Gabriel, both performing ‘Different Energy’ by Kisha Kay, were second and third, respectively.
