Government maintains fuel and LPG prices

The Government of Saint Lucia has kept the retail prices of fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) unchanged for the period from July 13 to August 2, 2026, in line with the updated fuel price pass-through system.

During this pricing cycle, the prices for gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and LPG products have not changed.

Gasoline and diesel will stay at $16.75 per imperial gallon ($3.68 per litre). Kerosene will stay at $10.41 per imperial gallon ($2.29 per litre).

LPG prices are also unchanged: the 20-pound cylinder stays at $34.00, the 22-pound at $38.00, the 100-pound at $288.50, and bulk LPG at $2.76 per pound.

The government says it will continue to support kerosene and LPG prices to help protect consumers and businesses from changes in international prices.

During the current pricing period, kerosene continues to receive a subsidy of $2.74 per imperial gallon.

The government also continues to subsidise LPG, adding $33.19 per 20-pound cylinder, $35.91 per 22-pound cylinder, $47.46 per 100-pound cylinder, and $0.47 per pound for bulk LPG.

By keeping these support measures, the government says it is helping households and businesses deal with changing international energy prices and keep cooking gas affordable.

With the updated fuel price pass-through system, fuel prices are checked every three weeks.

The next review of fuel prices is scheduled for August 3, 2026.
