A’ila Resorts in Saint Lucia, the $1.3 billion development at Mount Pimard Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, has opened additional phases as the project unfolds. As part of its phased rollout, the BlueZone Residences along with the Turquoise Mediterranean restaurant and Palma Beach Restaurant are now open. This follows on the heels of the LifeCo Wellness Centre and Resort, which opened earlier this year.
The BlueZone Residences include breathtaking ocean-view accommodations catering to families, couples and long-stay travellers. It features the elegant one-bedroom Azure Residence and the expansive two-bedroom Grand Azure Residence with contemporary design projecting the warmth and allure of the Caribbean.
According to Ipek Ayhan, real estate sales agent with A’ila, the BlueZone was opened in July with an initial set of 12 units, which will eventually have a complement of 34 spectacular ocean view rooms.
“We also have the Turkish-infused Mediterranean restaurant called Turquoise Restaurant, and we are already accepting guests both local and visitors,” Ayhan says. “There we offer great food, great hospitality and of course great views overlooking the Reduit beach and the wider ocean.”
Ayhan went on to explain that the menu at the Turquoise Restaurant is very diverse, offering great Mediterranean flavours infused with a touch of the Caribbean. The menu includes seafood, artisan flatbreads, salmon, salads, pastas and more and is open from noon to 10 p.m.
Closer to the beach and offering a more relaxed and casual setting is the Palma Beach Club, where one can delight in fresh stone oven-prepared pizza and pide. Turkish-style gyro, lahmacun, burgers, and much more are also on offer.
Ipek Ayhan says the resort is welcoming Saint Lucians to come over and indulge in what is on offer, which she says is unlike anything else on the island.
