WASCO launches online bill payment with instant account updates

WASCO customers can now pay their water bills online 24 hours a day, following the official launch of the company’s online bill payment system on Wednesday.

The new system allows customers to pay their bills, view their balances and access current and past bills through a single online portal.

Chief Executive Officer Zilta George-Leslie said the new service is part of WASCO’s efforts to expand its digital services and make it easier for customers to manage their accounts.

“Your account will be updated immediately after your payment is made,” she said at a press conference. “It allows you to access your account 24/7, no queues.”

Customers can register through www.wascosaintlucia.com using the WASCO account number listed on a previous bill.

George-Leslie said the new portal brings several services together, allowing customers to manage their accounts, view bills, check their balances and make payments in one place.

She also said the portal was designed with security in mind.

“That same trusted WASCO service is now available through a secure channel which is built to international security standards so customers can make their payments in a protected and safe environment,” George-Leslie said.

WASCO’s Information Technology Manager Gregory Tench said customers’ personal data and payment information are fully protected.

“The digital bill viewing service and balance enquiry line are available to all WASCO account holders at no additional cost,” Tench added.
