Police probe shooting

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday on Jn. Baptiste street.

According to reports, a thirty-eight year old man, identified as Leedarshan Montoute, sustained a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was transported to hospital via ambulance.

It was not immediately clear what his medical condition was.

The incident occurred some time after noon.
