Less than two weeks after a horrific fire killed twenty students at the Mahdia Secondary School girls’ dormitory, investigators in Guyana have launched a probe into another blaze from which 17 girls escaped unhurt.
According to local reports, the early Thursday morning fire at Karasabai Village in Region 9 destroyed the St. Angela’s Girl’s Hostel.
State-owned Guyana Chronicle reported that the Catholic Church constructed the hostel through self-help to ease the burden on students living in the village with guardians.
The publication said several individuals were in custody concerning the fire.
“At this time we can confirm that everyone was evacuated from the building, and no one was injured. However, the building and its contents were destroyed. Investigations are ongoing”, a government statement said.
Sounds like copycat disgruntled students…
hmm what is going on here is someone trying to sacrifice virgin blood for the devil?
