WASCO wishes to inform the public that due to a power outage at John Compton Dam and Vanard; the raw water conveyance to the Theobalds Treatment Plant has been interrupted.
Hence, the water supply to all customers fed by Theobalds Treatment Plant will be affected.
The areas include Bexon, Vanard, Millet to Cap Estate and all areas in between.
WASCO apologizes to its customers for the inconveniences this interruption will cause and will restore the supply once the power outage has been resolved.
WASCO is monitoring the situation and will issue necessary updates in a timely manner.

WASCO, are you in too deep?! It appears that you are drowning in the existing problems! I don’t claim to have the answers to all these recurring problems, but a new path must be paved for the future. The old path we have been on (for far too long) is swamped with too much headache! Water is too much of a lifeline and necessary commodity for us to have this kind of inconsistent service!
This is how our GDP grows, having the most unreliable, dilapidated, under resource departments which are the vital organs toward sustainable development. Having endured this plague for many decades, this seems like it has become an incurable disease affecting this company, how incompetent this particular organization have become. I am tempted to believed that an undermine orchestration is forging ahead here. We have several water bottling companies on island but one is distant ahead by millions of miles in comparison to others and also uses the island major water source to bottle and resell, this said company uses to import water to resell before developing a bottling plant here. Asking a question – Could it be this company is paying a group of individuals to probably be neglectful or to ascend more problems to the island major water supply in a bid to get its water dominate others? Why I am asking this question is because, I knew of a situation when our market invite other Telcommunication companies to come here to setup and one out of the lot was paying the established one here, their engineers, technicians and Gov. Officials to sabotage that company. After the 1st company started to liquidate its assets, thereby attracting new company to invest, it rebound its market share. WASCO board needs to be fired. Too many rotten eggs in there. Water is blood for local manufacturing do I need to explain more or detail it? Independence is coming the Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture will be knocking at our local Manufacuring door steps to prop-up their existence to collect more and more pay checks. Awa for this Banana Republic that will soon celebrate 45yrs of interdependent. For 45yrs the leaders cannot get a working formula to move the country forward and mind you it is just a population of 180k people. Some Asians company have well over this island population and moving ahead rapidly. We produce Nobel winners but yet we at sea bed level.
