The production of a Producer Price Index (PPI) for the manufacturing and construction sectors in Saint Lucia will soon be an added data set of the Central Statistical Office.
PPI is an important economic indicator used to track inflationary pressures in the economy.
It also measures the average changes over time in the prices paid by domestic producers for the purchase of inputs used in the production process.

Thank you, but can you also add the CPI? I want to know the average price change consumers pay for goods and services. It is a crucial indicator of inflation and the cost of living. Calculating the PPI without the CPI is limiting in this environment. And while I am at it, can you also update your website? I’d love to have access to consumer datasets without making a request.
