WATCH: Crusita Descartes-Pelius Creates RSLPF History

For the first time in the history of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF), a femaleĀ  officer will helm the High Command in the capacity of Commissioner of Police.

On October 17, 2022, Prime Minister and Minister for National Security Hon. Philip J. Pierre announced Mrs. Crusita Descartes-Pelius will Act as Police Commissioner.

Commissioner Descartes-Pelius assumes her new role with more than three decades of experience in law enforcement under her belt.

  3. Pierre, first she was acting commissioner, now she is commissioner. For someone who is on the books to be retired next year. How will that work. At the end of next year we will be in the same situation to hire a new commissioner. I hope this is not a political payback by you Pierre. You have been known and have a reputiation to pay your political debts with high profile jobs at the expense of St.Lucians. This move smells like a rat in my opinion. Somethings are not adding up.
