  1. Remember the sky isn’t falling. Btw We Lucians must not be fearful. I wonder why the PM went to Vfort with SSU and Bodyguards a few months ago.

  2. Where is the police commissioner is this state of heighten crime. Has she gone into hiding. She needs to get out of her lair and address the issue. Time for action. And by the way, enough of those ineffective traffic checks. The police are acting like this is the only anti crime measure they are familiar with. ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

  3. We need police reform. We need to change the police tactics. We need the police to be proactive. We need to put fear in the criminals. We need crime to be everybody’s business. We need Pierre to roll out a new plan – comprehensive plan for police reform. We need more than we are getting We need more – We did vote for more but are getting less from Pierre.

  4. PIP IN YOUR MOTHER TOT TOT I’M AFRAID AND IT’S NOT THE MEDIA THAT HAS ME SCARED WITH ALL THESE MURDER REPORTS BUT YOU AND YOUR ADMINISTRATION DOING NOTHING AND NOT EVEN SPEAKING FROM A POINT OF SHOWING FORCE OR HAVING A PLAN OF ACTION. PIP I’M SCARED CAUSE YOU ACT LIKE YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO OR SAY AND ALL THAT COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH IS PURE GARBAGE WHICH MAKES THE SITUATION EVEN WORSE THAN IT ALREADY IS. PIP IF YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE HEAT THE GET OUT OF THE HOT SEAT THAT’S THE MINISTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY PLEASE AND THANKS.

  5. These Traffic checks is no police tartics The police have to return to the Drawing Board and ask the FBI.Scotland Yard and ATF for Assistance .Otherwise St.Lucia Finish

  6. No one can stop the carnage in the shot term unless drastic measures are taken . Guess what, the same ones dying for action would still be complaining when such measures are taken . There is too much politics involved in the commentaries. For every homicide there is an average of three seeking revenge ( family, gang, friend ) just multiply 3 by the number of unsolved murders and hoops here it is. The police cannot stop people from killing each other, but if they could append and the law is drastic, then hoops here it is one more time !

  8. But for true, ever since the big introduction of her & the so-called “no nonsense approach” talk I haven’t really seen or heard from her…Don’t tell me this was just a gender hire (because these days it seems to be the thing) is either Gender or diversity hire regardless of qualifications…Hopefully I am wrong, but with that being said we need to take the bull by the horns & do a crack down like ORC…El Salvador has curbed their crime problem regardless of backlash from western nations, they did it for the citizens of the country, think our government & law officials should take a page from their books.

  9. Any society who wars against its armed forces prepare to make friends with its criminals. St lucians no peace for you yet. Hypocrites

  10. You are right…sadly it was a gender hire.Nothing else. The PM wanted to be the first at something.
