A motorcyclist, identified as Gaspar Satoute, died Tuesday night following a road accident.
According to the police, at bout 7:40 pm at Beausejour, Gros Islet, a collision occurred involving a motorcycle and a pickup van.
The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) said it received a report of a collision involving a motor scooter and an Isuzu pickup. When emergency responders arrived, they discovered that the rider exhibited no vital signs.
Satoute of Beausejour, who was riding the bike, was later pronounced dead by a medical official.
He was in his fifties.
