The Soufriere fire station responded with two appliances after receiving a call for help at about 11:15 am.
It was the second fire in an abandoned building to which firefighters responded in the past few days.
On Tuesday, fire gutted an abandoned structure near the fisheries complex in Vieux Fort.
Emergency personnel from the Vieux Fort fire service rushed to the scene with two fire appliances and one ambulance after receiving a distress call at about 6:12 pm.
Firefighters said that despite an initial challenge in accessing the area in the building where the fire was, they contained the blaze to a storage container.
