Two people were reported homeless after fire swept through a wooden and concrete structure at Ciceron, Castries, on Thursday.
Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) Communications Officer Stacy Joseph said emergency personnel from headquarters and the Babonneau Fire Station responded at approximately 7:20 p.m.
“Emergency personnel found a two-storey wooden and concrete dwelling
structure fully engulfed in flames. With great efficiency and skill the fire was extinguished and no other properties or persons were reported affected during incident,” Joseph stated.
