Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Dennery after 3 am on Saturday, apparently due to a domestic dispute.
According to reports, a medical practitioner pronounced the victim, a woman in her thirties, dead at the hospital.
The police say that a man who is a ‘person of interest’ in the case is assisting them with their investigation.
There are no further details at present.
