On Wednesday June 14, 2023, about 4:00 a.m. Officers of the Northern Division Operations Team and the Special Services Unit conducted an operation in Northern part of the island.
During the conduct of the operation two Search Warrants were executed.
A Search Warrant was executed on the premises of Rambert Marcus Chassang at Reduit, Gros Islet.
One (1) Glock 9mm firearm with a selector switch and fourteen (14) rounds of Ammunition were recovered.
Rambert Marcus Chassang was subsequently arrested and charged for the Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
On Thursday June 15, 2023, he was escorted to the First District Court for bail purposes and he was remanded to the Bordelias Correctional Facility.
