Eighteen Through To Groovy, Power Soca Monarch Finals

40 soca artistes competed in a rousing soca semi-final last evening at the National Cultural Centre. 18 artistes; 9 in each category, have been selected to advance to the finals of the National Groovy and Power Soca Monarch Competition scheduled for Friday, July 7, at the SAAB Vigie.

The artistes will go against the defending monarchs; Ricky T, for the Groovy Monarch title, and Fross for the Power Monarch. The qualifying artistes below are listed in alphabetical order and not indicative of scores.

Tickets for the Groovy and Power Soca Monarch on July 7, are $60 or $150 VIP, and can be purchased from The Cell outlets and Steve’s Barbershop.
