  1. Well, just when I began wondering whether or not covering private parts still exists in carnival … thank God, there is hope 🙏

  2. Agree with @Maranne. Good to see some CLOTHED winners (and relevant heritage side) at Carnival this year. In recent times it has descended into a flesh fest with no relationship to what it was meant to be.

  3. @Maranne well you can still consider it nonexistent because the majority of women were half naked with all their behinds outside displaying their degrading behavior. It was like a bumbum and meow meow festival. then these are the same women when you see them later in their jobs you would swear they are a different person and these type of women will want to be the same ones to call out “sexual harassment” in the work place like in the alleged case in the RSLPF, they are the same ones that will say men are dogs and dont have respect for women and say all sorts of unsavory things about men.

At the end of the day its your body and if you feel like going to carnival naked with just spray paint on then be my guest but just keep in mind of the consequences later, also none of this gives the green light to treat women with utter disrespect but if you dont respect yourself how do you expect people to treat you? Yes you might be a respectful person but you are the one creating the scenario down the line at some point in receiving the disrespect.

  4. @g.w you are so right, and something I have said many times before on this forum about self-respect. However it was good to see that at least one of the winning groups were fully clothed and mostly older women.
