An ambulance crew from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed a man to the hospital on Saturday after he was attacked with a machete at Sarrot, Castries.
The emergency personnel received a call for assistance at about 3:06 pm, and on arrival, they found a 43-year-old man with lacerations to his body.
The responders treated the man’s injuries before transporting him to the OKEU Hospital.
The reason for the attack, currently under investigation by the police, was not immediately apparent.
