SLOC Inc., PUMA Agree On Sponsorship Deal

Sports company PUMA has announced a deal to become the official apparel sponsor of the St. Lucia Olympic Committee (SLOC) Inc.

The partnership will see PUMA further strengthen its association with the Committee, having also secured the recent signature of one of the country’s star sprinters, Julien Alfred.

As part of the five-year agreement, athletes competing under the SLOC Inc. banner will do so in PUMA apparel, including the Paris 2024 Olympics.

  1. Puma has TWO Caribbean greats: Rihanna and now Julien Alfred.
SLP had better step up and shower her with more ….
Kudos to the SLOC for their input.

  2. Boom, you all need to stop sleeping on young athletes. The number of little amazing footballers I see all over this island is amazing. Unfortunately alot of them will lose motivation to go further by age 12 and be discouraged by age 19. We are losing alot of great and amazing potential talent by focussing on the wrong things while expecting other countries to carry us and coach our blood.

  3. Perhaps the time is opportune for the GONS to be restored, redeveloped and upgraded to its rightful function once again, as a sporting arena and academy.

In addition, the West Stand at the GONS should be named in honour of Julien Alfred’s international achievements.

  4. Again, all on the backs of the athletes, not the administrators, yet the athletes get no respect.

  5. Great lives the slp for sponsoring alfred if wasn’t for them she would be no wheregreat lives pjp

  6. This is my question. What has SLOC done to have a 4x100m women’s relay team prepared to run with, possibly, the fastest woman on this planet?
