Saint Lucia Shines At The 35th Anniversary Of Virtuoso Travel Week 2023

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to luxury travel excellence, Saint Lucia made a resounding impact at the prestigious 35th anniversary edition of Virtuoso Travel Week 2023.

The event, held from August 12 to August 18, brought together an impressive assembly of over 5,000 attendees from more than 2,000 companies, drawing global luxury travel professionals and providers from over 100 countries.

At the heart of this remarkable showcase, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority’s CEO, Lorine Charles-St. Jules led a dedicated team that included representatives from all five renowned Saint Lucia Virtuoso properties: The BodyHoliday, Cap Maison, Jade Mountain, Ladera Resort, and Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort. This united front illuminated the island’s stature as a powerhouse within the luxury travel industry.

The overarching theme, “So Connected, So Inspiring, So Virtuoso,” reverberated throughout the event’s dynamic program.

Over 100 one-on-one appointments, supplemented by immersive professional development sessions and a tapestry of formal and ad-hoc meetings, formed the bedrock of this week-long celebration of excellence.

The hybrid nature of the event facilitated authentic connections that underpin robust business growth.

In a strategic move to expand its reach even further, Saint Lucia leveraged the virtual landscape by facilitating concurrent appointments via Sales Officer, Racquel John.

This proactive approach ensured the island’s Virtuoso Preferred Destination status reached its zenith, given the formidable competition from global counterparts present. With an unwavering commitment to personalized interactions, Saint Lucia’s representatives maximized face-to-face engagement to forge meaningful relationships.

The host venues, including the Bellagio Las Vegas, Aria Resort & Casino, and Vdara Hotel & Spa, provided a fitting backdrop for this momentous occasion.

As the curtains drew on Virtuoso Travel Week 2023, Saint Lucia’s resounding presence left an indelible mark on the luxury travel sector, setting the stage for continued excellence in the years ahead.
