Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Castries

A vehicle struck a male pedestrian Sunday night on Darling Road, Castries, resulting in his hospitalisation.

A Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) Castries Headquarters crew responded with a fire truck and an ambulance after learning about the incident at about 10:30 p.m.

The emergency personnel transported the 58-year-old accident victim to the OKEU Hospital.

He had sustained head trauma.

However, the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
