Saint Lucia Sport Shooters On Target At Martinique Open

Saint Lucia won its second IPSC President’s Gold Medal after almost a decade at the Martinique Open 2023 Level 3 Sanctioned Match, which was held over 3 days in Martinique from 2nd to 4th November 2023.

There were twelve (12) challenging practical stages eagerly contested by over seventy-eight (78) sport shooters from Saint Lucia, St Martin, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, and other French overseas departments (DOM).

At the end of the Tournament, Team Saint Lucia Dominated the Open Category taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. We also captured the 2nd Place in the Standard Division.

Team Saint Lucia First Place Open – Ajid Jankie (President’s Medal); Second Place Open: Chris Thakur and Third Place Open: Lennox Mondesir. Dilan Biscette captured Second Place Standard Division.

Team Saint Lucia returned home on Sunday 5th November 2023, via L’ Express with plans to represent their country in Guadeloupe, St Maarten, Aruba and Jamaica in the upcoming Level 3 Matches.
