A fire destroyed a wooden dwelling house at Agard, Castries, on Tuesday, leaving seven people homeless.
The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) responded after learning of the fire at approximately 9:55 a.m. and found the building, measuring about 33′ X 13′, fully engulfed.
The emergency responders extinguished the blaze, which did not affect other properties, and there were no reports of injuries.
