Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed five people to St. Jude Hospital on Friday after a panel van and a minibus collided.
The accident occurred at about 5:50 pm near the quarry.
There were two people in the panel van and three in the minibus at the time of the collision, which appeared to have been head-on.
According to reports, the panel van was heading south, and the minibus was traveling in the opposite direction.
The impact of the collision trapped the drivers in their vehicles.
As a result, SLFS emergency personnel had to use extrication tools to free them.
The emergency crew then transported the two drivers and the three other accident victims to the hospital in stable condition.
