On Monday, January 15, 2024, about 3:00pm, the Gros-Islet Police Station received a report of a shooting, on Dauphin Street, Gros-Islet town.
Upon arriving at the scene, Police Officers discovered an individual lying motionless with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Emergency Medical Technicians from the Saint Lucia Fire Service attended to the victim but he was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
The Victim has been identified as Canice Felicien, a twenty-seven year-old (27) resident of Notre Dame Street, Gros- Islet.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Gros-Islet Police Station at 456-3830 or the nearest police station.
