Very soon Babylon have to build more prisons for the so called criminals . The average St Lucian prefer to go to prison and get 3 meals a day and a roof over your head than to go and work for 3 to 5 EC dollars an hour … They will have to build about 5 more prisons…
It’s time police press release has their mugshots. Show their faces…embarrass their families and friends who used to feed them and nuture and harbor them!
@George, I concur wholeheartedly
Man you think that people care about mug shot and any embarrassment . There are people who do crime just to go to jail so they can get 3 meals with a roof over their heads sometimes it is better to be in jail than to suffer and go and work for low wages for Babylon wages that take you nowhere in life . It is the system and the local white elite that is responsible for where we are today
Is there court sitting daily in St. Lucia? Why is St. LUCIA News online not reporting any of the results? Are you saying is only adjournment they are having? Senior Magistrate please have a meeting with your colleagues tell them we are following this and it shows as if the magistrates are accomplices in the crime in St. Lucia.
@George I agree 100% ✅
@ Babylon: why spread racism as a stupid excuse for people who wish to break the law and do evil? what you said will not only start and end with the so called elite in St. Lucia, that figment of your imagination will/can only hurt many who thrive on their little jobs in hotels on the Island. Change the direction of your thinking, rather there’s nothing too hard for God.
@# The Fox – you are correct. However, this is the mindset of some folk who have already decided to become a statistic of the prison system. Rome was not built in a day and every normal thinking individual knows you have to start from the bottom and work your way up with education, perseverance and integrity.
If you fail to prepare you ultimately prepare to fail and that is the reality. I come from a family of ten and we were taught from a young age
-pray and have faith in God
-study hard and be the best version of yourself
-do not envy anyone or their status
-do not follow bad company
-stay out of harms way
I can honestly state that this upbringing has served us well – and we in turn have passed it on to our children. There is no new thing under the sun whether we are in 1999 or 2024….
BTW – I remember in St. Lucia when you decided not to follow bad company – they called you Fresh. Amen
