Vulnerable Soufriere Residents Get Home Improvements

Under the National Housing Assistance Programme, several vulnerable Soufriere residents have benefitted from home improvements.

The beneficiaries have expressed gratitude to the government for the intervention aimed at improving their lives.

  1. It is a well know fact that most persons in Barons Drive are SLP voters, I hope this initiative will be extended to other parts of Soufriere which need assistance as well.

  2. Hold on. I thought this initiative was to help poor people in the community and those who are venerable. The 3 men who spoke and showed their gratitude do not look venerable to me. They look like they can get off their a** find a job and fix their damn house. Why is tax payer money fixing houses for men who have nothing wrong with them? That cannot be right.
