Dennery Man Charged For Firearm, Ammunition

On Friday, June 28, 2024, about 2:40 a.m., the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) recovered a firearm and ammunition in the community of Mon Repos.

A off-duty Police Officer had cause to search a male suspect, which resulted in the discovery and seizure of a firearm with ten (10) rounds of ammunition.  The suspect, identified as twenty-three-year-old (23) Jay Collymore of Over the Bridge, Dennery, was arrested for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

The Micoud Police Station undertook investigations into this matter. Jay Collymore was subsequently charged with Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

He was escorted to the Magistrate’s Court, where bail was granted in the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars (XCD25,000.00) cash, suitable surety, or land documents.

  2. Let him loose. He has significant contributions to society. He will participate in Red Cross and Salvation Army activities. I can just see him in the front pew in church.

    When your person in charge of security tells you there’s no room to secure violent offenders, then you know that you are in serious trouble. In the world of security management, there is no such thing as no space. This is precisely why you have places like annexes, adjuncts, temporary facilities etc. Pierre is just a dilettante.
