Escaping Custody – Arrest Warrant Issued For Bexon Man

Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Bexon, Castries, man for escaping lawful custody.

An ‘urgent notice’ on the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) Facebook page on Tuesday announced the warrant of arrest in the first instance Merlanus Devon Charles.

The notice appealed to the public for help in locating him.

It urged anyone with information to contact the Gros Islet Police Station at 456-3830, the Crime Hotline at 555 or use the Crime Hotline App.

The Facebook notice provided no further details.

  1. More information would have been helpful, such as; should he be considered armed and dangerous; his proclivities, if Amy, and so on.

  2. Wonder why the public just cannot help yol. You issue this release and not ONE brain cell thought of telling the public WHERE he escaped, WHAT was he wearing, HOW tall and heavy he may be, WAS he in for violent crime….just unbelievable!!!!
