  1. I know, the police know is not Rodney bay boys dat did this…we have way bigger fish in the pot than to mess it up by robbing and assaulting the tourist….now ask for the perpetrator don’t you dare make us find out who you are, trying to come tarnish our survival hub.

  2. These are the kind of things that will hurt our economy in the long run. Morons like these…. Soon these what happened to these tourists will become public in UK and travel advisories and warnings may be issued against tavelling to our island, all because of some ruthless, lazy morons who see fit to rob a poor tourist rather than … work for a living. Ofcouse our PM is going to go down on his knees and beg the criminals to stop the crimes and another Minister is going to call out the criminals’ names on media but nothing is gonna be done as the criminals and their families’ votes are important, even more so than law abiding citizens. FACE IT LUCIANS, we are doomed.

  3. When arrests are been made, how long does it take for these cases to be called by the magistrate? Its the same adjourn and adjourn. I am tired of hearing cases are adjourned….Common Senior Magistrate do something about this continuous adjournment. By the way nothing has been said about the notorious criminal from Boisden Jacmel who escaped St. Lucia and went to England. Commissioner Of Police tell us something. How did he escape?

  4. …..and the beat goes on, it’s not the first it won’t be the last unfortunately criminals just love themselves some English Cockney. The slew of incidents against UK visitors does not fair well for tourism. This is not a good look, We can’t afford to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. Given all that has happened one would think UK visitors would exercise an abundance of caution. Yes we welcome them and these incidents does not reflect the nature of all St Lucian’s and we deeply apologize they are not at fault, but they must exercise caution in their movements the same way they would do in London or any other Uk cities, crimes of this nature is not limited to St Lucia or the wider Caribbean, this can happen or does happen in many tourist destinations around the world including their own respective countries.

  5. I’m guessing this is the reason why the queens chain is being disrespected and more and more properties are becoming all inclusive resorts which is ironically removing all the tourism money from the island. How many resorts are Lucian owned? It’s such a beautiful island and everybody we have met in the island are why we keep coming back. If the Lucian’s have our back during our stay then we could keep most of the tourism money with the locals. It’s true crime is everywhere but being on such a small island puts you guys at a huge disadvantage. While we try not to condone people to take matters into their own hands, how much damage can be done before the people say enough is enough. The majority of the cruise ship income has been diverted off island, the resorts are pretty much foreign owned. It might be wasted breath but the only way we can keep Saint Lucia a iconic Caribbean destination that isn’t destructive to the island is to support each other, street vendors, artists, guides, taxis, chefs and bars, employ private security in public areas with known issues.
