Peter & Company Auto drives GAC brand into Saint Lucian market

Peter & Company Auto, a division of Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL) Auto, has officially launched Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC) vehicles in Saint Lucia, introducing a line-up of award-winning models backed by the local company’s trusted after-sales service.

GAC, ranked #181 on the 2024 Fortune Global 500 and recognised by J.D. Power as the #1 quality Chinese brand for eight consecutive years, sold over two million vehicles worldwide in 2024. With joint ventures including Honda, Toyota, and Mitsubishi; GAC is expanding its reach in the Caribbean through GEL Auto’s established network.

Alan Bayne, chief executive officer of GEL Auto, emphasised the brand’s global reputation and local backing. 

“With GAC, we bring to Saint Lucia vehicles recognised globally for safety, performance, design, durability, and technology, supported by the service customers expect from GEL and Peter & Company Auto.”

The launch line-up includes the Emkoo, a futuristic SUV blending innovation with sophistication; the GS3 Emzoom, awarded the Highest Quality Compact SUV in China; and the AION EV Series, rated the Highest Quality EV [electric vehicle] Brand in China in 2024. 

The vehicles are backed by industry-leading warranties, including seven years or 250,000 km bumper-to-bumper coverage for Emzoom and Emkoo models, and up to eight years or 200,000 km coverage for AION EV power systems.

Laurencia Cadette, general manager of Peter & Company Auto, said the launch builds on decades of trust.

Peter & Company Auto confirmed it will support GAC customers with full after-sales facilities, certified technicians, and genuine parts, to pair world-class quality with local expertise.
