The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has formally identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred late on September 10 in the community of Active Hill, La Clery.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Kimmany Francois of Desruisseaux, Micoud, according to an official statement issued by the RSLPF on September 12.
Police officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:33 p.m. on September 10, following reports of a lifeless body in the area. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Francois’ body bearing what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
The RSLPF is urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. Members of the public can contact the CID at 456-3770, or provide tips anonymously via the Crime Hotline at 555 or through the RSLPF Crime Hotline App.
The investigation remains active, and police say all leads are being pursued to bring those responsible to justice.
