Brandy and Monica will close out this year’s Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, organisers confirmed Tuesday at a media engagement hosted by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) at Sandals Regency.
The two R&B icons, who rose to fame in the 1990s and reunited for their sold‑out “The Boy Is Mine Tour” in 2025, add star power to a lineup already rich with international and Caribbean talent.
The festival was officially launched on January 22, with the lineup featuring Tems, Branford Marsalis, Skip Marley & the Original Wailers, Tye Tribbett, Esperanza Spalding, Kes the Band, Beverly Knight, Ella Mai and more.
At the time, the SLTA had promised a special event to announce the “main” act.
“Monica and Brandy’s inclusion elevates anticipation among music lovers, cultural tastemakers and international travellers alike,” said SLTA Chairman Thaddeus M. Antoine.
“Their performances promise to blend nostalgia with contemporary flair, aligning seamlessly with the festival’s tradition of showcasing world-class talent across genres while celebrating Caribbean culture, artistry and creativity.”
Early bird tickets are now on sale for the festival, which runs from April 30 to May 10. Opening night will showcase Capleton, Valiant, Asa Bantan, D’YANI, Shervon Sealy, LM Stone and American country artist Amber Digby. Themed nights will follow, including Kingdom Night, Pure Jazz, Caribbean Fusion and World Beats.
The finale on May 10 – the Ultimate Celebration – will feature Mervin Wilkinson & Friends, Billy Ocean and headliners Brandy and Monica.
