District Six claim Inter-District Champs

It was all blue at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground on Wednesday, April 1, as District Six stormed to victory in the Inter-District Primary School Athletics Championships. Representing Vieux Fort and nearby areas, District Six ended District Eight’s winning streak, despite some brilliant individual performances from the Soufrière/Canaries team.

Heavy morning rains eventually gave way to brilliant sunshine, excellent weather for athletics. Teachers, parents, family members, and fellow students were out in force to cheer the youngsters at the penultimate sporting activity of the term.
