Grand finale delivers unforgettable moments at St. Kitts Music Festival

The 28th edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival came to a memorable close on Saturday night, as a strong lineup of international, regional, and local acts delivered an unforgettable finale to the three-night event.

Grammy Award-winning singer Fantasia captivated the audience with a powerful set of her classics, such as “When I See You” and “Lose to Win”, and also delivered a rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”.

Adding to the atmosphere, Fantasia celebrated her birthday on stage during her performance. In a heartfelt moment, the crowd wished her a happy birthday as she was surprised with fireworks and a cake, creating a standout moment of the night.

Legendary reggae icon Beres Hammond also graced the stage, taking patrons on a musical journey through his timeless catalogue. The audience sang along word for word, showcasing the lasting impact of his music across generations.

R&B group Boyz II Men delivered a smooth performance, with harmonies and dance moves. The group also paid tribute to music legends with renditions of Michael Jackson classics and New Edition’s Can You Stand the Rain”, much to the crowd’s delight.

Closing out the festival in the early hours of the morning was reggae star Tarrus Riley, who kept the energy alive as a large and enthusiastic crowd remained to witness the final moments of the event.

Other performances throughout the night included local artist Zu, along with reggae acts D’yani, Luciano, and Gharlic, all of whom delivered solid sets that resonated with their fans.

After its three nights, the 2026 St. Kitts Music Festival may have seen the biggest attendance since its inception, once again proving why it remains one of the Caribbean’s premier music events.
