The latest tapeball cricket series between Saint Lucia and Dominica’s Kalinago Territory carried on their tradition of friendly competition. In the first matches of the 2026 tour at the Kalinago Playing Field, both the veteran and national teams from each side secured a win.
In the first match, the Saint Lucia Veterans beat the Kalinago Veterans by seven wickets. The Kalinago team batted first and scored 159 for 9 in 15 overs, anchored by Haynes Viville’s 44 and Raymond Casimir’s 36. Glen Eurysthee and Fendley Estephane led Saint Lucia’s bowlers, each taking three wickets.

Saint Lucia lost three wickets in the chase, reaching 160 in 19.5 overs. Sean Auguste was named player of the match for his 62 runs and one wicket, with support from Julius Simon, who scored 56.
Momentum swung back to the hosts in the national match, which was played over 10 overs. The Kalinago National team scored 120 for 5, with Jason Paris, Riyel Paris, Daren Toussaint and man of the match Neo Davis all making double-digit scores.
Saint Lucia began their response quickly, reaching 42 without loss in two overs, led by Orey Changoo’s 41. Wickets fell regularly from the third over onward as Fred Paris and Kevin Paris claimed three wickets each. The visitors were bowled out for 113 in 9.3 overs, handing Kalinago a seven-run victory.
Saint Lucia and Dominica have visited each other for tapeball cricket matches for several years. In 2025, the Dominicans played in Saint Lucia.
