Police have appealed for the public’s assistance in finding missing Babonneau teenager Cheronie Popo, also known as Alana.
The youngster attends the Babonneau Secondary School.
According to the police, people last saw the fourteen-year-old leaving the school premises on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
A relative disclosed that the teenager had gone missing twice before, but not for so long.
A police bulletin on Friday urged anyone with information regarding Popo’s whereabouts to contact her mother at 7264351, the Babonneau police station at 456-4120, or the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.

Check the equation 14yrs apparently didn’t come home several times before. Notice the trend, little things went unchecked turn into a big thing now. Who do you want to blame? Check the teacher house, at 14 and allow to have bf then prepare for the baggage that comes with it. Mom stand up and stop this shit ok. If you can’t get the social welfare to step in because they are collecting hand out financially to provide such service. It’s horrible to deal with this manifestation living among us turning a blind eye on it.
As a mother the first time she had left she wouldn’t leave a second time….I would have broke her leg the first time. A stitch in time saves nine.
These things manifest at an early age, teacher turns a blind eye on it, parents live on a different planet, higher grades guys try a thing or two if they get tru they then share her around like crixs, if they don’t succeed they pimp her number to others and the cycle goes on while she is totally inexperienced of what is lurking by the time she knew it, she’s on her back or bending to touch her toe. It’s reality it happens randomly all over. Mothers allow their daughters to showcase themselves with the outfit they wear as if they are on massy shelf. Predators lurking in every corner here, what’s disgusting above all this is that mothers looking for others to take care of their baggage. I know of a mother who have a teenage daughter in form 3 and seldomly be at home. The man she is with mentioned her mother collecting a salary from him. Just imagine!

Out of fear, embarrassment and social chastising, this girl might be afraid to leave the room she is in and to return home. Make no mistake she is not by any friends home, or family therefore she is subject to emotional, sexual and physiological abuse as we speak. I hope that she reads my comment, walk out from where you are and return back home. You’re big enough to do this and to just not subject yourself to this level of life style. Its not good my girl go back home or move and stay with a family close of yours if your home is toxic.
