The Saint Lucia government has issued an alert advising that it is not associated with fake online promotions, offering free online courses.
The promotions claim to offer free part-time or full-time Government of Saint Lucia online courses starting in April 2024.
“Don’t miss out on this opportunity to upskill and advance your career. Sign up today before it’s too late,” one promotion that offers a diploma upon course completion declared.
Another promotion offers over eighty courses.
However, an official statement from the Saint Lucia Government denounced the promotions as fake.
The statement declared, “The Ministry of Education does not have any ongoing campaigns with these institutions or the persons purporting to be in any collaborative agreements with the Ministry.”
It further noted that information regarding legitimate promotions would always come through the Government and Ministry websites and social platforms.

Anyone with 2 working brain cells could immediately tell that these promotions were fake. The St. Lucian Government, whether under SLP or UWP control, would never publicly promote free, government-sponsored educational opportunities – it’s just not in their political DNA!
The biggest fear of the political duopoly in St. Lucia is that St. Lucians would educate themselves, and develop their critical thinking skills to the minimum level, where they could see through the party scam to usurp their collective power for the personal benefit of party leaders and minions; which has been in effect since St. Lucia attained adult suffrage!
The hue and cry raised by the St. Lucian Government against this current online grift is not about protecting St. Lucian citizens. Rather, it is about completely erasing from the St. Lucian psyche, the possibility of any St. Lucian Government ever sponsoring or offering free, timely education to its citizens, as a basic right of said citizenship!
