Emeli Sandé, Chicago in line-up for 2027 jazz festival

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has announced the first three acts for the 2027 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, including internationally acclaimed British singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé and American rock band Chicago.

The announcement was made on Thursday in London, where Saint Lucia’s tourism officials are attending the annual World Travel Market.

Sandé, known for hits such as “Next To Me” and “Beneath Your Beautiful”, a collaboration with British singer-songwriter and producer Labrinth, was named among the headline acts for the festival.

The line-up will also feature Chicago, the legendary rock band behind timeless hits such as “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “You’re the Inspiration”.

Representing Saint Lucia is R&B fusion sensation Michael Robinson, who recently headlined a sold-out concert here.

More international acts are expected to be announced soon for the festival, which is scheduled to run from April 30 to May 9.

The 2027 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival was named Festival of the Year at the Caribbean Music Awards earlier this year.
