Woman, Three Men Granted Bail For Illegal Gun

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) carried out a combined operation that resulted in the seizure of an unlawful firearm in Monchy, Gros-Islet.
Consequently, four adults (three males and one female) were arrested and subsequently charged for Possession of Firearm.
The four persons were taken to the First District Court for the purpose of bail, where bail was granted with the following conditions:
1. Claudia Albert-Joseph: ten thousand dollars (XCD10000.00), cash suitable surety or land documents.
2. Claude Joseph: ten thousand dollars (XCD10000.00), cash suitable surety or land documents.
3. Dwayne James: ten thousand dollars (XCD10000.00), cash suitable surety or land documents.
4. Jules Harvey Joseph: fifteen thousand dollars (XCD15000.00), cash suitable surety or land documents.

  1. I wonder how these officers must be feeling after putting their life on the line to apprehend these thugs and less than 48 hours most of them are back on the streets

  2. Come to St Lucia where people are friendly and u can get away with using illegal guns an only pay 3,000$ USD if caught! And off course remember there’s absolutely no water for build wash or drink for the extended period bc of wasteful resorts golf courses tourists and wascos lackadaisical ness….smph

  4. Release them. Don’t waste their valuable time. They can’t be tardy in meeting their armourer for a new weapon. Who is going to rob the place if you have them locked up.? Think ahead St. Lucia and get your priorities right. We need them out at all cost because the police need to find something to do. When I grow up, I want to be like Pip.
