Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has disclosed hearing from hospitalised Minister of Equity, Justice, and Social Empowerment Joachim Henry, who is resting and ‘not doing worse’.

“He had some tests yesterday,” Pierre told reporters Tuesday on the sidelines of a parliament sitting.

Henry is currently in Martinique after initially receiving medical attention locally when he became unwell on Sunday.

“I hope he will be back very soon,” Prime Minister Pierre told reporters, adding that in the meantime, the Castries South East MP is on medical leave.

  1. Did anyone say he was doing worse? Is it a case where he is not doing well or better and not worse? This PM choice of word is confusing.
